Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for snowy weather! I bought this jacket before heading out on a couple of January trips to New England and Colorado with lots of snowy skiing and hiking on the agenda! I loved the functionality of both of the components of this jacket! The insulated layer was warm and I particularly loved that it was synthetic and I didn't have to worry about it getting wet. The outer layer was great for adding warmth against wind and keeping me dry in snowy conditions. I'm 5'8" 135lbs and a small fit perfectly, with room for a fleece underneath. I loved the color of the outer jacket and the combination of the two pieces together, but do wish the insulated layer were a bit more muted in color.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very tight in armpits I wanted to love this jacket. It looks great, water beautifully beads and rolls off of the waterproof outer shell, and the inside jacket looks nice alone. However, the armpits (arm holes?) were veryyy tight despite the fact that I have relatively thin arms (typically wear size Small) and I was wearing only a thin shirt underneath. I could not have comfortably worn this for very long. Of course I could size up, but everywhere else fit perfectly and would have been too big as a Medium.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but not a fit for me Jacket provided nice options (pockets, hood), style (good length in sleeves and jacket) and color but the fit was a bit off. Purchased a S and found that with my frame (5'0, 120) the fit in the upper body (shoulders) was tight and limited full range of movement with my arms. Have an athletic build and muscular back. Returned for a refund.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile I bought this jacket to replace my every day winter jacket. I thought that it was great, in that it holds the warmth extremely well. I am comfortable in temperatures down to about 15F if I'm just standing around, and much lower if I'm being active. I enjoy the 3-1 component. The outer shell is not breathable when it's all zipped up so prepare to sweat if you're just using it for wind on a warm day. The inner lining jacket is very breathable and so I were the full jacket into work then the lining throughout the day in the office to keep me warm. Also, it's really easy to clean, and I haven't had any cleaning products stain it so far, such as using a bleach wipe on the outside or spraying it with ethanol for sanitation purposes. Overall, it's a great jacket both for the average commuter who doesn't want to get cold and the active trail blazer during the winter.
