Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket. Close fitting Great jacket. Close fitting athletic cut with good arm length and shoulder width. The Gravity offers great warmth and wind protection while still allowing range of motion with slight stretchiness. Repels water quite well (it's not fully waterproof, but I've worn it in the rain), but still breathes relatively well. I've never overheated in the Gravity even while active. Because it's got such a great fit, I can wear minimal layers, stay warm, and layer a hard shell over top comfortably. Hook-and-loop cuffs effectively keep out the wind and moisture. The collar at the zipper is a little stiff, but there's a flap that covers the zipper so it doesn't rub. The lining is nice and soft. Barrel locks for the bottom cinch are in the pockets (and I tend to fiddle with them), but that means there's no bulky barrel locks at the hips: nice touch. I don't use the sleeve pocket much, but it looks cool. Would buy again; highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket! I have been looking for something like this for months. I wanted wind protection, with water resistance and not too thin. Something that I could wear before the winter weather really hit. I love this jacket! It was perfect on my trip out to the Oregon coast where I put it to it's first test. It drizzled and was windy one day and this jacket worked as it should. I stayed warm and dry and looked great at the same time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely perfect! Got this jacket for my recent trip to Chicago. Weather was 17 degrees all week and this jacket kept me insanely warm. Perfect fit for a petite figure, thin but warm, not too heavy and bulky. You can basically wear it in freezing-cool temperatures. Great price. Will definitely recommend this jacket to someone who's looking for something comfortable and warm at the same time!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This jacket is super warm I bought this a while ago, since I needed a soft shell. It is water resistant and super warm. I wear it on jogs and walks and it keeps me very warm. The lining is fleece and the pocket are really big. The only issue I have is that the outside material is stiff, especially at the collar. The small fits me perfectly. I am 110 lb and 5' tall. It hugs my body. Keeps me plenty warm with a thermal shirt underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Jacket this jacket is amazing! I love the fit. It is usually difficult trying to find a cute jacket while always having to buy XL. I was able to wear a midlayer during my recent trip to Convict lake in Mammoth, where it is VERY windy and the jacket still looked great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Winter Running Jacket I run year round in ND, so it's cold, windy, and snowy. This jacket works great with a base and fleece layer to keep me warm on windy winter days. Water resistant helps with snow too. Fabric is a little stiff compared to other softshells, but works well in tough weather. I like the dark blue color, it's something different than black or pink. Stylish enough to wear with jeans and a scarf around town.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Incredibly Ill-Fitting on ; Very Stiff Material After reading all of the glowing reviews and seeing the product photos for this jacket, I was very excited to order it. This excitement was immediately replaced by incredulity and extreme disappointment after I received and tried it on. It's easily the most ill-fitting jacket I have ever tried. It was so tight in the shoulders that I could barely cross my arms, and that was done with great discomfort. In an odd contrast, the jacket billowed out on the sides, front and back in the bust, waist and hip areas because of excess fabric/roominess. The outer fabric was very stiff and did not conform to my body contours whatsoever, which accentuated the poor fit. I essentially looked like I was wearing a potato sack. To give some context, I wear a size small in jackets and tops, with bust/waist/hip measurements of 34B/26/36. My body type is hourglass athletic with broad swimmer's shoulders and not much "meat" in the waist and bottom. Based on the distinct bell shape of the jacket, I'd say it was made specifically for ladies with slim to average shoulder widths who are more gifted in the midsection and hips. In closing, I love Marmot products, and many of my favorite clothes are from this brand. This is why I was so taken aback by the significant discrepancy in the quality of this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this jacket I bought this a month ago as a spring jacket and I love it. Spring in Duluth, MN is still pretty chilly but this blocks the wind well and keeps me warm.
