Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing quality at an affordable price. Just bought this jacket as a further outer layer for windier and wetter weather. Best things is it fits great over a fleece and the ROM jacket too. All three are Large in size and there is plenty of free movement. Feels great, very light and flexible.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I love this jacket but it does have flaws I received this as a present a few years ago and it’s done me well for a long time. I’ve put it through the wringer and it has no rips, excessive wear spots, or seam slits. The jacket is long enough that it’s perfect for rainy or otherwise wet weather, but not too long that it cumbersome. Now for the bad. It’s a warm jacket. It doesn’t seem to breathe well, while still being comfortable because of the liner. This wouldn’t be an issue if there were under arm vents. The dwr coating probably wore off about a year ago and I recently re-coated it with a nikwax treatment because I do like it and don’t want to replace it yet. I do love this coat and I use it as a shell for layering (great for cooler weather) but in warm weather I avoid using it for long periods of time or strenuous activities. Otherwise, I’d be drenched in sweat instead of rain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just as described. Recently wore this on a morning hike to watch the sun rise on New Years Day in Canyonlands National Park. Kept the wind out and even after spilling some hot chocolate on the front it dripped right off not leaving a trace of it. Also packs down fairly small and fits well. I have not used it in any rain conditions yet, but feel it will probably work well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light & Comfortable First time buying this brand, and I am very happy with it. Light weight, fits well, waterproof (so far) and keeps the wind at bay. I'm a very warm person, in a very wet environment (Western WA), so this is perfect for me. A lot of good things about this jacket, as well as some things that I miss from other jackets I've had. Front phone pocket is a must for me, and this one is a perfect size for my iPhone8+, though it does feel like the phone "falls" a little when you put it in the pocket. Zippers, velcro, hood adjustors all work very well. One thing I noticed that I never had with other branded coats was that the liner inside this coat doesn't seem to be attached to the actual coat in many places. If you hang it up by the neck loop, the outer coat seems to fall away from the lining. When you put on the coat, most times the inner sleeve lining pushes through the arm hole when your arm goes through. You have to kind of pull the lining back into the coat. It feels like you're a kid learning how to get dressed again. Other than that, I love the coat!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great waterproofness; can get warm The coat is definitely waterproof. I just returned from a week in Costa Rica where I hiked for hours in the rain forests, and zip-lined, and the coat protected me just fine from the wind and rain. I like its zipper-equiped pockets as well. Two complaints, however: It can get warm in there. If you're hiking in 60s or below its probably not going to be a problem... but when temperatures climb to 70s or more, you'll get sweaty in there. I live in Seattle where this will come in handy, but maybe its not ideal for climates like those in Florida, say. I suppose you can't really get great water-proofing without avoiding the sweating too, but I wanted to share that. Additionally, sometimes the zipper would get caught in the coat's fabric. It happened a few times, which is annoying. That's not a problem I usually notice, so the fact it happened here means, to me, there might be a design flaw.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very bad I had to take scissors and remove lining because it doesn't breathe at all. Who invented a membrane jacket with non breathing lining???

Rated 2 out of 5 by from God price, low breathability. Not good for high-intensive activities. Too low breathability. I guess its good enough for slow walking/hiking.
