Great ski shell
I love this shell. In my opinion, there is nothing better than GoreTex to shield you from harsh weather. The construction of this piece is definitely built for the mountains. The only slight annoyances I have with this one are that the cuff closures are a bit big so that the twist some of the sleeve fabric when closed, and that the powder skirt does not zip out when not needed. I do like the oversized hood for use with a helmet. This is my go-to ski shell and also works great as an everyday shell around town in my harsh Wyoming weather.

Not as expected
Dont think this lives up to the hype in my opinion. The hood is the biggest disappointment. Its bulky and when its on I couldnt adjust it enough to make it not fall in front of my eyes. Was excited to use this as a ski jacket next year. It appears to be a great material for it but I'll be returning it because of the hood mainly. I wanted to use it for other things than just skiing and it was too awkward without being fully zipped up. The only other thing I'll say is they have to figure out a better way to pack away the powder skirt when its not in use. The button they use makes it feel like theres something in your left pocket the entire time.

Great ski shell.
Great ski shell! Lightweight. Versatile. The only thing I don't really care for is the oversized hood. I'll probably appreciate it on a windy day.
