Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Husband Bought for my husband, he loves this jacket! Great fit for him as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket with some fit issues Bought this in early 2020 from the local Marmot store that had a sale going on. It looks great, is super warm and is very well made. My only issues are fit oriented which is obviously different from person to person. I'm 6'4" 225 with a relatively lean build. I'm normally a XL, I'm an XL tall if it's available. With this jacket in XL I found the neck to be very snug to the point of having difficulty zipping it up, and there is a little too much room in the torso for me. Both of those are a bit surprising, my neck usually fits fine in XL and usually an XL is a little more fitting in the torso - even in a big winter jacket. Overall length is relatively short but not bad at all. I usually love Marmot's hoods but this one feels shallow like it doesn't really wrap around the head and doesn't want to stay in place. Having said all that I think it's a very quality piece, and it comfortably keep me warm below freezing without much underneath. Pretty stylish around town too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm puffy jacket for cold weather Bought this jacket midwinter for the colder days when the primaloft type stuff doesn’t cut it. It delivers and keeping warm in those cold days. I like the waterproof factor also. Detachable hood a great feature. Many days I don’t need a hood and like the look without it, but have used the good option a few times when I wanted it. It is a bit puffy like a down jacket should be, but the styling and the texture of the materials make it look more stylish than a puffy jacket. Fit is generous. The XXL still roomy and comfortable despite that not being the case for me in some other brands and cuts. This jacket is definitely not a “fitted” cut.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality Jacket This jacket was given to me as a gift a few years ago and i am completely satisfied with the present. This is perhaps one of their best quality jackets/parkas that i've owned throughout the years. I love how this jacket performs during the winter season as I live in New York.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everyday jacket for all of your winter needs I love this jacket for everything except for actual hiking because you’d be sweating bullets. This jacket is so warm and comfortable my wife steals it from me!! I love the tough fabric, makes me feel more secure going through the trees without the worry of tearing up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, comfortable, sharp I bought this coat before the winter hit here in northern Ohio, and I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s cushioned feel from the rather high down fill-count is placed well in the structure, and the cut suits my frame. I’m 6’1,” about 185 lbs, and the large is a perfect fit for me, with or without a light layer or two underneath. The fleece cuffs hidden inside the outer sleeves are soft and non restrictive on my wrists, while still blocking heat from escaping, or cold air from blasting up my arms. The snaps and zipper all work well and have remained sturdy throughout this last season. Other than that, I have to say it’s a handsome coat, and I’ve been told I look really good in it. If you’re considering this as a great go-to coat for chilly to downright cold weather, I’d definitely say, “Go for it!”

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice So far so good. This jacket is warm and comfortable. Like other reviewers, it is shedding minute amounts of fuzzy down which gets all over the black jacket. But according to Marmot this is normal and I assume it’ll stop eventually. The outside is very waterproof and the sleeve cuffs have a fleece material that is very comfortable on your wrists.  All in all I’m very happy with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Jacket! I’ve had this for two months. It’s very, very warm. It’s cozy. It looks good. I’ve had lots of compliments on it, okay, like, 3 compliments on it. One of those compliments was solicited by me. I took the hood off of it because it’s barely useable. When I zip it up all the way, it’s like wearing a neck brace. It’s leaking feathers from the seams, which is kind of a bummer. It’s a jacket. It’s not perfect but it’s warm.
