Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shorter than other 30” inseams I love Marmot. I have plenty of Marmot gear in my inventory. But this pant just didn’t hit the mark for me. The 32” inseam was way too long on me and this 30” inseam was just too short. I ending up with a pair of Prana 30” inseam Hendrixton pants that fit perfectly. Aside from the sizing, the materials are top notch. I wish there was more flex in the pant, but they seem as durable as denim. I ended up giving the Arch Rock to a friend that fits him perfectly, and he loves them. We went on a backpacking trip the other weekend and got dumped on, and the Arch Rock pants had the best DWR finish in the whole pack. It’s a win for Marmot, but a loss for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good warm weather jeans The jeans arrived in time for the first hot, wet day of the Florida rainy season. The twill CoolMax fabric (two thirds cotton, one third polyester) proved comfortable (we're also having biting midges, so wearing shorts is limited). The front pockets and the relatively roomy watch pocket are a bit unusual in having metal rivets. Waist sizing is typical for present-day US standards, and the 30 inch inseam, is as advertised. Traditional jeans-type metal button at the top of the fly. In fact, this is a pretty conservative interpretation of the typical American jean. The fit is fairly generous for the legs; these will be comfortable for all day activity. The olive color matches the website photo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome light weight pant! These pants offer a sturdy lightweight pant for multiple uses wether it be a summer hike or climb, I use these pants year round. The fabric is not flex (which I appreciate), but the cut of the pant allows full function with a perfect fit to avoid excess material. My only wish for these pants would be a wider opening adjacent to the right pocket to fit my knife. My smaller knife will slide right in and the location keeps it very secure. 34 short fit me perfectly, and I usually wear a 34x28 pant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable Active Fit I bought these before summer, they a really comfortable with an active fit. The ankles can accommodate boots, but they aren't so wide to trip over. Breathable, nice amount of stretch, but not too much. They look nice wearing around town also. If you're between sizes, go up a size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Underrated waist liner I'm on 2 pairs going for my 3rd. Love these pants because of the durability but most people don't realize how much the waistband liner adds a touch of comfort as well. With the price range being on par with other brands, I would definitely go with this pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Arch Rock Pants and Shorts, Well Rock! These are tremendous pants, have worn them for many years now. The secret of there comfort and wearability is out in my family however. My son has began wearing them as well. I wear the short size and it’s such a great thing Marmot addresses that need. The Arch Rock shorts are also an amazing product. Lightweight, breathable and the pants I wear year-round. Always look like new so quality is top notch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad I got these I bought these for summer hikes where I might be inclined to keep my pants on at night and/or in the rain. I'm so very happy with the purchase and the fit. I'm a smallish guy (5'6'' and 145 pounds) so it's difficult to find things that fit well without being too small. This fits the bill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for climbing, hiking, and field work As someone with very large thighs and calves but a small waist, these are my favorite outdoor pants that I have found. The cut is perfect for an athletic build. I wear a 32 waist in most other pants (Levis, dockers, carhartt) but the 30 waist in these fits great. I have used them for everything from climbing to beekeeping and they have held up for many years. They have been very durable, allow for a wide range of movement, are breathable enough to wear in east coast summers, dry very quickly from sweat or rain, and look very nice. I have three pairs that I have bought over the years and they are consistent in their sizing and cut. I usually don't write reviews but these pants are great functionally and stylistically. The only thing I could ask for is more colors (navy, dark brown)
