Description
Epic backcountry adventures and mountain ascents require gear that can not only keep up, but keep you warm and protected in intense conditions. Water-repelling PrimaLoft® Gold synthetic insulation provides warmth and protection without adding bulk. Waterproof and breathable Marmot MemBrain® inserts ensure you have protection from the elements while moisture-wicking DriClime® Bi-component lining keeps hands dry. Taffeta at the beginning of the mitts means snow can't cling and the gauntlet drawcord helps to keep out any persistent precipitation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best mittens ever These mittens are awesome! They keep my hands warm and dry all day while skiing - I haven't need extra hand warmers. They're a good size and well made, I'm hoping they last for years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost TOO warm Best mittens I've ever owned. I switched from the Burton "equivalent" which I wore for a few years, and the difference is night and day. Now I joke that most people complain about being cold in the winter... But Marmot enthusiasts complain about being too warm. It's really not that much of an exaggeration!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Warm but not very durable They are pretty warm but aren’t holding up very well. I bought them for skiing and they are already starting to rip and show signs of wear after just 9 days of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expedition Mitts Review Wanted a very warm mitten, so researched and decided on Marmot Expedition. Very happy with mittens. Warm and well made. Minnesota resident, and typically wear in -5 F to 25 F environment while walking or dealing with snow. Great mittens, highly recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good gloves, but they dumped a great feature Great gloves that keep your hands warm. I had the prior generation, and they had the best feature.....retention straps. Unfortunately, Marmot got rid of them on this generation, which they don't ention, and is the BIGGEST drawback. A deal breaker? It almost is, but maybe they’ll bring it back in the next gen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gloves The gloves are very comfy, the fit is good and they stay functionally dry for all day skiing in wet stormy weather. I have several Marmot items for ski mountaineering. Marmot is a solid good quality company. They are the only ones who can keep North Face honest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super warm Great choppers that are very warm. I use these all the time skiing in CO. Also love the leash so I don't drop them from the lift. No need to wear a liner under them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like them Well made and warm. Used them on a six below day the first time. One thing I would have liked on them would be keepers like the ultimate gloves, I had to buy a pair.
