Awesome Car Camping TentMy wife and our dog do plenty of car camping and wanted something more spacious than our 3 person tent that we've been using for years now. This is a huge upgrade for us. The quality is unbeatable and the extra space is super welcome. I'm 5'11" and can stand up all the way which is probably my favorite part, especially coming from small tents. My only tiny gripe is for such an expensive tent, they only included enough stakes for the tent and vestibules, no extras to stake out the guy lines for the awning or sides of the tent. Oh well, just another trip to REI. Highly recommend this tent!

Great size, but has some glaring issuesI purchased this tent a bit over a month ago and I have set it up 3 times for use. Once it rained overnight and the tent stayed dry inside. I also purchased the footprint for the tent.
The floor in the front vestibule is nice
The tent is really tall and roomy inside
There are a lot of pockets in various places around the tent
Setup is made easier by color coordinated straps, poles, and buckles
Light diffusing pocket in the tent is a nice feature
The grommets for the footprint are tight enough and won't easily stay connected to the poles without some extra work
The window on the fly can only be opened from the outside
A buckle on the rainfly broke the second time I used the tent
The tent did not come with enough stakes for the guy lines. This is a bit mind-boggling to me for such a high-end tent. More on this later though, because it is an issue.
The all mesh doors are not nice for privacy or wanting to sleep with the rainfly off. They also let in a lot of breeze which will be nice during the summer, but not as nice when it was colder
The concerning part is that the fly touches the tent in around the area of the windows on both sides. I was told the only way to fix this is to use the guy lines, but as I mentioned above, the tent came with lines, but not enough stakes. This is also an issue because I do not camp in windy areas, and I have a kid running around. I don't want to have to set up a tripping hazard around my kid if I can help it.
In my opinion, this is a huge deal. The fly should not touch the inner tent. Overall, I am pretty disappointed in this tent.

love it!bought this a few months ago when it just came out and took it for a camping trip in the Pacific Northwest. This tent is super spacey, it is a little heavy so it is definitely not a backpacking tent. But it is a great family tent for car campers. Love the awning, although you have to buy the poles separately. We had to buy the footprint separately as well. You would think Marmot will include a footprint for a $700 item.

Quality of tent material is not as expected.Spacious. Extra pockets. Color coordinated for easy set up. I was disappointed with the quality of the inner tent. As my son an I were setting it up a small rock snagged the tent material and it wasn’t even the mesh part. I was bummed because this was a hefty price for a tent and it was our first time setting it up. I’m not sure how it will hold up on tougher terrain. Oh and yes we did buy the footprint as well.

Amazing and one-person set-up fairly easyI went camping with my puppy with this tent for the first time last weekend. I am 5'4" woman and was able to set the tent up by myself :) Wonderfully spacious, will have plenty of room for 3 sleeping pads and her crate, seems very well made and the awning is awesome! So worth the money!!

Great tentWe use it to car camp with our three school-age children. Quick and super easy to set up and take down, has done great in the (honestly fairly mild) rain we've seen so far. Fly vestibule area is great.
