Description
More space means more comfort, and the Tungsten Ultralight 4-Person Tent delivers without adding extra weight to your pack. Zone pre-bend construction creates vertical walls for plenty of sleeping space and headroom for stretching out. “Easy pitch" clips and poles make it easy to set up quickly. If a downpour hits, the seam-taped bathtub floor ensures you'll stay dry and resists pooling, and the rain-shield flysheet won’t stretch out if it gets wet. Stash your pack, poles, and other gear in the two vestibules and tuck a headlamp into the UV lampshade pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tungsten 4-person ultralight tent This is a high-quality, extremely low-weight tent. My family of four used this tent for a 25 mile trek in rain and high winds with no issues. The tent is well ventilated, and has a sturdy bathtub floor. The vestibules under the fly were sufficient to cover packs, boots, etc. We used a diy 2mm drop cloth footprint, and had no problems in several violent thunderstorms on an exposed ridge above the tree line. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid! On a three night camping trip, we were greeted by torrential rain our first night. The rain began in earnest around midnight stopping around 7am. The tent held up great! No leaks even when the wind was whipping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall impression and set up I got this for a family canoe trip. It worked great. It’s very compact and lightweight but offers a ton of space, and vented well. The set up was very easy, so easy my 10 & 11 yo’s set it up on their own a few times. It’ll be along for many more adventures... I’d definitely recommend the footprint, glad we got it to help protect the base.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tent for the family backpack Got this for my husband. Love how light weight it is. Room for four people. I would recommend getting the footprint to protect the bottom. Kept us warm and dry while up on my Rainer in temperature in 40’s

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Car camping or backpacking My husband and I used to carry a cheap backpacking 2-p tent that weights about 5 lbs. It’s way to small and we don’t sleep comfortably. This tent weighs about the same but is so roomy and has nice features such as the double door and vestibules , vents, and headlight shade. Sleeping is so important in the wild and we totally don’t mind carrying a few more pounds for the ultimate comfort. The tent also comes with 2 guy lines for increased stability in windy weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Family bikepacking tent! Our family of 4 adults is currently living in our 4 person lightweight tent on a month long bikepacking trip. It’s easy to set up and the large vestibules have been really helpful in storing and keeping gear dry in humid areas. We can almost stand up in the tent when changing clothes in the back country which is also helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tungsten 4p UL Awesome tent. Easy to set up and break down. Wish the stakes were a little stronger. Two broke on first use due to hitting a rock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and Durable This tent is new to me so my review only comes from one week of camping. It is unbelievable light and seems to be pretty durable although the screen and fabric seem silky thin. My only complaint, or cautionary statement is that is you are using the Marmot footprint and this tent together the floor is very slippery- the tent floor slips around on the footprint when walking. I did have to lay a wool blanket down to be able to maneuver around in there. The poles are high quality but there is a little plastic connector in the middle of the two long cross poles. It makes setting up, and striking, both awkward (because the poles are help together making), and easy (because they are help together at the right point), at the same time to have that fixed junction. I will see how long that piece lasts, but it looks pretty durable. Also the side poles have little circular ends that snap into little plastic housings on each side. If one of those plastic housings break on a trip, I think there are work arounds, and it wouldn't put the tent out of commission, but it might be a good extra piece to have in a repair kit. So far so good. I would recommend it you are looking for a roomy, but very lightweight tent.
