Rated 4 out of 5 by from Family Car Side Camping Tent Tent was purchased two month ago. We have camped in it for a total of 16 nights. Great space overall. We use it for two adults and an 85# dog. Great ventilation, easy to set up with two people. Only negative we have had is that on very rainy days the fly drips in two specific locations. There are straps that would be used when rolling up he rain fly, when it’s raining hard enough they drip on the inside of the tent. Plan to cut the straps off and add more seam tape. Overall, again, it’s been great and when it leaked it down poured for over an hour before it started dripping. Continued to rain for six hours. I did not take a picture of what I’m trying to explain, sorry for that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It Leaks The rainfly does indeed leak right in the middle of the tent where the rainfly tie backs are sewn into the seam. It is 2 steady drips right down over the sleeping area. Even with it staked the mesh over the sleeping are was too saggy/droopy. It was difficult to stake it out tautly enough. The tent must be staked very well to hold it's shape, and since it's so huge I would imagine it would be difficult to use this in a lot of campgrounds. I wish it was designed with more flexibility to use in terrain that might not accommodate thorough staking. Overall very disappointed that our family couldn't use this, since it was fun for kids.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great tent - a few flaws Splashed out on a Marmot tent to set the family up for a while and there are some really good things about this tent, the layout especially is awesome. But the let down for us was the fact it leaked 10min after set up. It seems it a design flaw - there are two ties in the center of the main sleeping space that break the taped seam and allow water to slowly seep through, we loved the layout of the tent, the quality of ‘most’ of the construction (lightweight, ally poles, excellent zips and pockets) but a real shame it leaks so it’s a no from us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 weeks of Camping (so far) This tent is great. The separated room with the ability to put up the front as an awning is awesome. All of the ways to open up and vent the tent are also very nice. I just spent 2 weeks in it on a wildfire assignment where we got about an inch of rain in 3 days and it stayed 99% dry. 2 small wet spots that I'm not sure how they got there. The one minor thing I don't like is that it is not fully free-standing. The tent has to be fully staked to get the very back pole to stay vertical. Otherwise a very nice tent, that is going to get alot of use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst ever!! I saw the Guest House 6 and was sold for the features and spacious room it had. I would leave this review under it, but it seems like they took it down. Needless to say, I’m sure it’s the exact same thing with this one. During the middle of the night it started raining while me and my family was sleeping inside. You would think with the amount of money spent on it, it would keep you dry. The water came through right on top of us. It started with small drip through the inseam in one place but then it began dripping in throughout all the inseams. It was almost 3am and I had to pack up and leave, since the tent did not stop the water from setting us. Worst experience ever. I would not recommend this tent at all!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looking tent with lots of windows Love the look of this tent and all the different ways you can reconfigure the doors. The ability to open all the door flaps and allow almost 360 degrees of mesh for air flow. Take time setting the tent up to get things just right, seems to be very tight, helped once had the tent staked all the way down. A little concerned about bringing my young dog out in the nice new tent as the mesh doesn't seem super durable, but time will tell. Haven't experienced rain in the tent yet, interested to see if other reviews about it leaking are true. Big fans of the tent so far!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wish the bag and directions were better I bought this tent after I had such great luck with my other Marmot tent. The tent itself is great, lots of room and nice design features. The bag and set up instructions are not so great, the directions are just a little vague for this large of a tent, but they work. The bag is terrible though, I had to buy a new bag for this tent so I could get it put away. I looked at some Big Agnes tents and they have great bags, just saying. I am sure you can get the tent back in if you want but it seems messy to me, otherwise the tent is great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I wanted to love this tent I purchased this tent last year. I went winter camping with it and had no issues. In January this year I went camping and it rained. The fly leaked, since it was raining at night I could not see where. I contacted the manufacture and was told it would take a month to get a new one. I then contacted the place where I purchased the tent and I exchanged it for a brand new one. The first time out it leaked again in three different places. The problem areas are where you can roll up the fly. These seems are not sealed well, I'm guessing due to the stitching. The other area is the little room that has only mesh.. The leak also came from where there was extra fabric to roll up the fly when not in use. While not a lot of water, it's definitely a slow drip and sill makes things wet. Not sure what to do now.
