Description
The lightweight Tungsten Ultralight Hatchback 2-Person Tent offers the space, comfort, and lightweight performance necessary for epic up-mountain treks when you want to relax after a tough segment or multiday treks that include single track rides. This 2-person tent has a pole in the back that increases stability while the removable front door adds versatility. This ultralight tent has an incredibly roomy sleeping area and tons of headroom, thanks to zone pre-bend construction that creates vertical walls. The rain-shield polyester flysheet won't stretch and sag when wet, ensuring you're comfortable and dry on the inside while camping or backpacking. Two D-shaped doors with large vestibules provide plenty of space to store everyone's gear when the rain is coming down.

Product Instructions
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile and Strong When the tent is fully up it takes up about 2.5 times the space of a regular 2 person tent. You could fit 2 bikes in the vestibule area. You basically get a little porch area. I have used it as an area to cook in and store my things. When I don't need all that tent I don't use the vestibule poles and fold in the vestibule area tarp underneath the 2 person tent area and clamp it and it takes up the space of a small 2 person tent. Tent has two entries so you are able to get out/in either way. Therefore, I think it has 2 size options making it versatile. Tent feels strong yet light.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light, Roomie, Easy Setup Pros: I bought this last summer and have slept in it a few times. It's decently light, while providing a lot of room inside. I am 5'10" and I easily fit inside with another person of the same size. The crossbar and the bend on the poles near the corners allows for plenty of head room. It's pretty fast and easy to set up with the color coding. Good materials and build quality. Cons: One of the vestibules is rather small (doesn't fit a large backpack); Only two small pockets on the inside for storage (would appreciate an overhead storage solution); could use a bit more ventilation when the fly is on. Overall: A great tent for 3 season backpacking. Much better price point than its competitors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tent, huge rain fly The bones of this tent are great; it’s lightweight, easy to set up, and is the perfect size. The rain fly, however is kind of rediculous. I didn’t realize how big it would be. When the description says you can fit two bikes under it, you can most certainly fit two bikes under it. I bought it because I needed a backpacking tent and this was on sale. Marmot doesn’t sell rain flies individually so I will be cutting this one up because I know I will never use the entire thing. I would recommend this to people who bikepack who also live in wet climates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hatchback ul 2p tent Used twice so far for weekend trips. Great for base camping. Is freestanding but definitely need staking for the large vestibule. Note the red tabs for the tungsten ul 2 footprint don’t match this, but the dimension do. lots of early morning condensation in the vestibule but burned off quickly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice tent, rain fly with no instructions It was lazy and almost unforgivable Marmot decided not to include proper instructions for the rain fly. if it weren't for the pictures on the website it would take an entire day trying to figure how to pole it. Rain fly is much bigger than the pictures. Good thing I bought it on sale or else I would be retuning it like most people have done.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disproportionate The hatchback fly is absurdly large, making a tent that sleeps only 1-2 take up the ground space of a 6 person tent. Avoid it unless you have a very specific use for its storage capacity like bikes. This is not a practical tent set up for most trips and you pay for the storage space in weight and especially set-up time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bike-packing tent It is a perfect Size tent for 2 person and 2 bikes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tent for 2 people This is a great tent for 2 people. I have used it elk hunting and general back country camping. Its more than enough room for a full size blow up mattress and all your gear. The vestibule is tall enough for shorter camping chairs so you don't have to sit on the ground. And for the 5 pounds you might as well take it into the wilderness.
