price to weight is a good valueFor the price (on sale) this is a great tent and well thought out design. Though others may not like the asymmetric design, it makes perfect sense to keep the rain off the main entry of the tent and makes it easier to get out. The loss of a star is for the following reasons. 1. The weight without footprint was 4lbs 9 oz on my scale and goes up to 5lbs 2oz with the footprint, which is more than what the website indicates.
2. It came with guy lines that are grass green with no reflectivity. Needless to say you can barely see them in the day... at night, good luck.
3. In an effort to keep the advertised weight down they did not include stakes for the guy lines.
It is still worth the low cost and is a good tent.

Solid quality, strange designI have no complain about the quality, though it truly took me a while to get familiar with the pole structure. The design is a bit different from what I thought of from their pictures but not bad, hope they can add the structure diagram or picture in the description. Looks like they missed the footprint, which should be included according to the description. But the customer service is very nice and help me resolved the footprint issue without any hassle.

Came With A Hole, No CorrespondenceI recently tried my luck with an ultralight one wall tent which had its own pros and cons, I feel like a tent with a fly is more my style so I saw this on sale and went for it. Super stoked and so impatient and when it arrived I was beside myself and happy danced and set it up right away to inspect.
Things I love about this tent: Super roomy, I could scooch to all around this tent and my head never touched the top, I’m only 5’5” but that was a previous issue in my one wall. Setup wasn’t all that hard to figure out, the poles are different, but easy enough. I love all the pockets inside, and the four “corners” of the top have loops to string my lights and/or clothesline. I can open and shut the door zippers with one hand which was another frustration of my old tent. I love all the extra guy line points if weather is rough. It could make a great tent and I'm ready to take it to Big Bend!
What I’m not excited about: The actual weight of the tent as it comes packaged was 4lbs 10.7oz which is over advertised weight and it's kind of a lot for backpacking but for the luxuries I will carry the extra weight. I worry about the "give" over the doors due to the strange pole construction, the points over each door give way extremely easily under pressure, I bobbed them with my hands and there was almost no resistance. But my main disappointment is that I received a brand new tent with a 1cm diameter hole in the mesh wall right next to a tent pole clip so that tension from clipping to the pole will work that mesh hole in no time. I have placed 2 online inquiries one right away and one 4 days later when I could get the accepted photo format and attached them, and I called the warranty number which gave me a busy tone, and I called customer service and was on hold a good 8 minutes before getting a voicemail on which I gave my name number and issue. I have received no correspondence back, I understand poo happens and I’m not mad I received a tent with a hole but I’m not satisfied with lack of any customer service whatsoever. The review writing guidelines suggest to avoid writing about customer service issues and to contact them instead..... I tried that several times already.

Very good tent!I bought this tent about 2 weeks ago and have used it once on a two night trip to Pisgah National Forest. It has a unique 2-pole design that takes a moment to figure out the first time or two you put the tent up, but its not bad after that. The tent has plenty of room for one person, but might be a bit tight for 2 people (but that is standard for all 2 person tents). I was happy with the overall height of the tent as I am 6ft and could sit up comfortably in the tent. On the second night of use it rained hard (probably almost an inch of rain over several hours). The tent stayed perfectly dry all night, as did the vestibule area. If I had one complaint it would be nice if the fly came down maybe another inch lower towards the ground so you didn't get as much splash back into the vestibule area. Also the Marmot website says that the footprint comes with the tent, but it actually doesn't. I called customer service and they sent me one for free with 2 day shipping, so their customer service is excellent. I have been an avid camper for 10+ years and have seen/owned many tents in my time and I think I am going to be very happy with this tent for years to come!! I would definitely recommend purchasing this tent!

Bizarre asymmetrical designThis tent is super light and great quality like all Marmot products. However, the design is absolutely asinine. The tent is designed to be lopsided, one side sits higher than the other, and without staking it down the whole tent tries to fold itself back up. Also, it doesn't actually come with a footprint like it says... It looks like they've removed it from their website now, hopefully this goes back to the drawing board.

Not as shown, Poor QualityI ordered this tent expecting the same level of quality as the tungsten tent series as its priced in that range. That was a huge mistake.
The tent I received was not as it is pictured online, the poles look different, the tent is shaped weird with poor top-down rigidity for a freestanding tent. It did not come with a footprint as written in the description.
My tent came with several long threads hanging from the seams that I had to remove carefully so the tent would not be damaged in normal use. That's poor quality control.
The tent sack and stakes are not very good quality compared to other marmot tents like the tungsten line that is virtually the same price.
I would not recommend this tent as it is not as shown and the build quality is half baked.

I love that it’s a normal colorSo many tents are weird high vis neon colors. This weird guy is asymmetrical and green and I bought it because my ex had the Tungsten and I liked the 2 door feature but didn’t want the same tent as him. This one (I will say it again) is weird. The weird Star Wars wing poles and shape? Why? I feel like it would hold up well in some wind. But it’s super nice and I’m stoked I bought it.

Look elsewhereAwkward design and not intuitive to setup. To add injury to insult, I lost the rain fly and now the tent is useless. After multiple attempts at contacting customer service they were friendly but not helpful; recommended I contract a 3rd party outfitter to make a rain fly. So now I have an expensive, useless tent. Very disappointed in the product and customer service.
