Description
When space and weight are at a premium (think biking trips, kayak treks, and epic backpacking), you want a super packable, stuffable sleeping bag that'll fit into sterns, bike panniers, and bags. You need the lightweight, PFC-free, mummy-style NanoWave 45 Sleeping Bag to keep you comfortable around 45°F. Synthetic SpiraFil High Loft Insulation will keep you warm even when things get wet. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice lightweight summer bag Perfect lightweight summer sleeping bag. Fits compactly in my pack, doesn't take up much room at all. Only issue is the weight listed at 1lb 1.3oz but even the outside of the compression sack has it at 1lb 13oz. On top of that, I weighed it at home with the compression sack and it's 2lb 4oz. So misleading info on the site for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, light weight bag! My family has had three of these light weight Marmot Nanowave 45 bags for years, and they have never disappointed us. We have used them on backpacking outings in the warmer months several times, and we have even used them like a liner in a heavier bag on colder outings. They back down small, the zippers are easy to use, and they have just held up very well to the abuse my three teenage, BSA Boy Scouts have put them through.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4 Year Review I've had this bag for over 4 years now, and it's accompanied me on many, many backpacking trips. I've probably slept a cumulative 3+ months in this thing. It's not the warmest bag, of course, but it's perfect for the warmer summer months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great summer bag Love this for warmer nights. I was camping 4 nights on the Green River Utah. One night got a bit too cold for this bag, but I have no idea what the temp was. Could have been 40 degrees. Not sure. Other nights were maybe 50 degrees at night and I was perfectly comfortable

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sleeping blanket I bought this to go on a canoe trip and needed a lightweight, synthetic medium temp bag. The temps did not go below 58 degrees at night and I froze my tuckus off all week. If you want a lightweight & highly compressible bag, sleep warm or are a reptile, this is the bag for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lasted the test of time Very happy with this sleeping bag for warm evenings that extend into chilly nights - spring, fall and high elevation summer camping. I took this summer backpacking though Alaska and it packs down in it’s cinch sack and is lightweight. When I used the conch sack as a daypack in town, one of the outfitters said he had the same one and did the same thing with it (used as daypack). Great minds think alike. Super comfortable and love the material. Not a sweaty layer of plastic at all. Machine washes great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Probably rated closer to 50 degrees I know that these ratings tend to vary given how well the person using the sleeping bag handles the cold and other weather factors. But after this past weekend, I'm fairly confident this is closer rated to 50 degrees than 45. I was camping around Asheville, NC this weekend for 3 nights and tested this out in actually cold weather (40s and 50s versus 60s and 70s, which is what I tested it at last time). It worked fairly well but I give it about a B- for how it handles actually cold weather. The tempertures for the weekend were between 45ish and 55ish and on the 45ish night I was bundled up in 2 tops, a beanie, very thick Smartwool socks and Smartwool thermal base layer pants and I was just warm enough. Even at 55ish I was wearing extra clothes to keep me warm and, as far as I'm concerned, if a sleeping bag is rated for a temperature, I should be able to use it in just my underwear...or at least very minimal clothing. Still, I love that it's so compact and otherwise well-made. It definitely does the trick for almost 45 degrees.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, simple sleeping bag I got this bag as a summer bag to use in Colorado. The bag is great and packs down perfectly. The bag is a little narrow but if you’re used to sleeping in a mummy style bag it’s just fine.
