Description
Sleep comfortably on overnight camping trips without adding bulk to your pack with the Phase 20° Sleeping Bag. You'll stay warm and dry in temps down to 20°F, thanks to the lofty 850-fill-power-down insulation and water-resistant Down Defender treatment. After an epic day on the mountain, give your feet a rest in the roomy, wrap-around footbox. Smooth, curved baffles help keep the fill in place, while the nautilus multi-baffle hood, cinchable draft collar, and snagless draft tube limit heat loss. If the interior gets too warm, use the full-length, two-way zipper to get some air. Tuck small items into the internal stash pocket for easy access during the night.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag Bought this bag two years ago to have my ultralight thru hike kit prepared, wanted the lightest, warmest thing possible. The zipper sucked, and my knee broke through one night while I turned, it was frustrating that something so small could turn my sleeping bag into a quilt! I sent it back for the full return process, asking them to please put a better, hardier zipper on the bag…. AND THEY DID! I just took it out to Yosemite and it performed perfectly, still like and super small in the pack, still warm and tough, but with a big, thick zipper to compensate for the pressure that the small footbox puts on the side of the zipper. Perfect bag now

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light weight! I was looking for a light weight down bag that is cool with getting damp once in a while, this bag is the one for that, the down iOS treated with Down Defender allowing it to maintain its performance when damp keeping you warm on those colder nights. Yes as you may have read elsewhere that the zipper is inadequate but if you are patient and taking your time the zipper works just fine. All in all I love this bag for its warmth, packability and being lightweight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 6 stars out of 5 - for everything but the zipper. This bag is superb. It's light, compresses very small (with a third-party compression sack - 6L will work). Amazing loft. The fabric is light but strong, very soft. Best sleep I've had in a sleeping bag. The 3/4 length (*NOT* "full length") zipper does vent well when you have the bottom open. Maybe my (three) other bags are also "narrow". But I have no concern with it being tight in any place, plenty roomy to me (5'10 / 180 lbs). Initially I thought the lightweight zipper really wasn't all that bad (see other reviews). But after several nights, I can now say that it definitely is problematic. You cannot open the zipper unless you have it just right - it jams solid otherwise. Yes - it contributes to the light weight. But I can see myself tearing the bag in a panic if I have it zipped up and can't get it open. Overall though, this will be my go-to bag. I'll take the fiddly zipper, for the size and weight and comfort. This definitely compares to the other two brands' hyper-premium bags at twice the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Light weight bag but the zipper needs some upgrade Good quality bag. The zipper is trash and hard to use. It sticks and is hard to use. Ill try are replace it with a larger zipper. I am 6' 177lbs and the bag is snug but comfortable. I used it for a september hunt where temps were in the mid to high 40's. Havent had the opportunity to test out the warmth in lower temps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 850 Fill Simply the Best As soon as you touch this bag you know this is going to be warm. The 850 fill is thick and lofty. Was as warm as toast in the 30’s with plenty of room to spare on the thermometer. The zipper is light weight and you need to finesse it a bit, but all bag zippers can snag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid sleeping bag Super warm, high quality sleeping bag. It's extremely light and while also packing to a small size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultralight, Warm and cozy. Great sleeping bag. Comfortable and warm. The upper part where the head is located, is very comfortable. Slept without a tent when it rained for 30 minutes and no water entered the sleeping bag. Completely dry inside, so the Pertex is doing a great job. The only downside in this sleeping bag is the zipper, which is pretty annoying sometimes, but it doesn't matter that much in comparison to all the upsides of this sleeping bag. Great quality!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tested it's Limits - Great 3 Season Bag! I've tested this sleeping bag three nights now. I made sure to check temps throughout the night. One night got down to 35 degrees, another down to 21 degrees and the last down to 11 degrees. I slept in nothing besides a t-shirt and gym shorts, out under the stars with no tent, using a sleeping pad w/ an R 4.9 temp rating. This sleeping bag is great down to around 25 degrees! Any temps above that it's a super comfortable night's sleep! Bellow that I began having to add layers. At 23 degrees I put on a puffy jacket and puffy pants. This worked for that night. Bellow 20 degrees I added base layers and wool socks. At 11 degrees I was cold when the wind blew, but was able to sleep. I woke up with frost on the bag on the two colder nights, but never got wet. Haven't had the chance to test it in light rain yet though. Other observations: The material generates a ton of static electricity when climbing into it! Enjoy the light show as you get zapped from every direction if you're in a dry climate! This is the lightest weight sleeping bag I've ever owned and I'm REALLY excited about that part! Ultimately the weakest link in my tests was my sleeping pad. When the wind wasn't blowing, my under side was always the coldest. If I were using a pad with an R value above 7 I probably could have slept more comfortably with less layers. I've had no issues with the zipper, which seems to be a common complaint. It's light weight, and can snag material, but just keep the baffle aside as you zip and you'll have no issues getting in or out quickly. As an avid Colorado native outdoorsman, I would recommend this sleeping bag as a great 3 season option!
