Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality Just got this bag today , been using a Marmot Never Summer 0 degree 650 fill , even though that was a nice bag the COL makes it look like an entry bad , just the quality of the material ( COL is Pertex high quality ) the loft , finish and overall all is very very impressive . Super happy about it and can’t wait to take to the Himalayas next year , there is not much info online about the COL for some strange reason but it is a top notch excellent quality bag , if there is a thing I would change it would be to update the zipper like the never summer that has the plastic cover that prevents snagging . I’m sure the future bags will all integrate that systems

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Bag I bought the Col a few weeks ago with the intention of using it on a winter Presidential Traverse in New Hampshire. We were unable to do that trek because of crazy winds and deadly wind chills, however, I did get to put this bag to the test at Carter Notch. The night time low temperature fell some where between -10F and -20F and I stayed warm all night, in fact a tad sweaty in the morning. The waterproof shell was key because we neglected to vent the tent properly and ended up with a winter wonderland on the tent walls. The down stayed dry all night and kept me toasty. I gave the Col 4 stars because of the packed size, weight, length of time it took to loft up and because it took a while to completely dry out from snow melt, sweat and condensation. Overall I would totally buy this again, it represents a solid value and is quite well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very warm and packs down to a good size I've had this bag for over a year and have since used it more than 10 times. 7 of those times the temperature has been below 0F. This bag has showed me that camping in the cold can be quite nice. During my coldest night of -10F, I went to sleep with a warm water bottle and woke a few hours later needing to vent heat from being too hot. The inner fabric is smooth and comfortable while the outside fabric is durable and ready for camping on any surface. My measurements for smallest pack size is about 16L which is good for a bag of this temp rating. This is easily the best -20F sleeping bag out there, it is bombproof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Marmot's Col MemBrain Marmot's Col MemBrain sleeping bag is 800 fill goose down and rated to -20 deg F. I pretty well exceeded this temperature rating on a recent trip into the Alaska Range and I did just fine. Infact, I frost bit my foot one day and owe the re-warming and capability of keeping it warm to this sleeping bag!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Second to none I have owned my COL since 2001. I have used it for many years spending weeks in the field in winter in Colorado and Utah. I have NEVER been cold in this bag. It is durable, appropriately water (frost) resistant and packed well over and over. I love this bag and when I have it I never fear the cold because I will always sleep warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this bag I used my new Col bag for the first time camping last weekend. I sleep cold and want a bag that I'll be warm in no matter what. The Col did not disappoint! The only thing that would be better for me is if the Regular were not for a 6' person. I am 5'5" so it is long for me and that much heavier for backpacking (but it will keep me warm in Patagonia this spring!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The go to sleeping bag - by Mike Leake Marmot's Col MemBrain sleeping bag is 800 fill goose down and rated to -20 deg F.  This bag can be used for a burley expedition in the Alaska Range, but is also packable and lightweight enough for a traverse through a mountain range like the Talkeetna Mountains of Alaska.
