Bound to be your new favorite home away from home, the Limelight 3-Person Tent embraces simplicity and straightforward design. Its vertical walls allow for plenty of sleeping space, plus the strategic clip placement provides more interior volume for stretching out. If rain clouds move in, color-coded “easy pitch” clips, poles, and fly make for an easy set-up, and the seam-taped, catenary-cut floor prevents pooling. Protect your investment by using the included footprint. One super-sized door offers easy access, while two vestibules hold all your camping gear. After an epic day of adventuring, tuck a headlamp into the lampshade pocket for ambient light at night.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Withstood 50mph squall with no protection I purchased this tent a year ago, and it has been performing as expected. No issues with condensation as long as I guy it out, no leaks in light drizzle. But I never really had any challenges until this past weekend. On that Sunday, we had two massive squalls pass over the island I was camping on, totaling 90 minutes of tropical storm force weather. Later on I found out that the wind gusts were easily 50 to 60 mph out of the west, where we had zero tree cover. During the storm I could hear people around me screaming and yelling as their tents ripped apart or blew over. Out of 28 tents, my tent was the only one that stayed upright and dry. Can’t say enough great things about this tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tent! We bought this tent for a road trip through Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. It was my first time major camping and the tent was extremely easy to set up and tear down. The tent held up well through a variety of weather. One night it down poured all night and we didn't get wet, but it did feel moist inside - I think that's just life when you're camping though. We also woke up to a frost covered tent one morning but still stayed warm. We are a couple that are both 6 feet or taller and this tent us fit us very well along with room for storage. We received a compliment at Zion that it was the best looking tent around and nothing else around could even compare. I really like this tent and would recommend to others!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No disappointments! I bought this to replace my pop up tent that I loved, but kept breaking. It's perfect. Easy setup/breakdown, love the extra headroom, and storage bays. It rained three of the four nights I camped, and it held up. The only slight annoyance I found was when opening the doors of the rain fly, the water droplets would fall into the storage bay area. So just make sure to keep shoes and bags on the other side. I also love the extra height of the mesh screen for more daytime privacy. I also now have the option to sleep without the rain fly and look at the stars if I i want! That's one thing I couldn't do with my pop up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolute quality product! Very happy I have used this tent on at least half a dozen occasions for hiking/camping in southern Australia. I recently took it down to a very rugged, remote track in the South-west of Tasmania, well known for harsh weather conditions. This tent held up so well to some really ordinary weather conditions. One night we were forced to camp out in an unsheltered rocky flat that was subjected to high winds (50km/h+) and non-stop rain. This tent held up so well (not a drop of rain in it and the fly stayed on even though I forgot to velcro it to the poles!), I was incredibly proud of it and so happy with my purchase. I camped out 7 nights in the Tasmanian wilderness and would not think twice to recommend this tent to anyone, for the price as well this is a seriously great piece of kit! Well done guys! Very happy customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievably Waterproof We purchased this tent for our honeymoon trip last year, hands down best tent we have ever purchased. We recently went on another camping trip but this time we experienced a down pour! We left to site see came back to our tent in a puddle of water! Out tent was surrounded by water as well as sitting on water. The water NEVER went inside the tent! We couldn't believe the water didn't seep into the tent! This tent is well made and incredibly durable! We plan to purchase a larger tent in the same brand soon to accommodate our growing family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good tent for tall people At 6'6" it is difficult to find a tent that can be backpacked. With the straight lower walls, this is a good fit for tall people. It's a touch heavy, but with the extra size comes extra strength, and I'd prefer to carry a pound or so too much tent than to be uncomfortable. Had this out in some torrential rainpours this past weekend, and the tent stayed dry inside and the guylines kept the tent secure in the 40+ mph winds. Very pleased with my purchase, which did include a footprint (some doco says no footprint included). Good tent, hope to use if for several years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Marmot Limelight Tent at Bear Springs Campground Finally upgraded my tent to the 3-person Marmot Limelight. Wow tent technology as made a major jump forward in the last decade :) I tested this tent as a Ranger for The Dyrt at Bear Springs Group Campgrounds in Mt. Hood National forest. Arrived late Friday night and without looking at any directions was able to set-up this tent in a couple minutes. Super easy. Top things I liked about the Limelight tent: 1. It comes with a footprint (hate it when those are sold separately). 2. What is normally a few separate poles - is just a one-pole-unit-hooked-together, making it a snap to set-up quickly. 3. The entire inner ceiling is a net. Really opens it up and can't wait to hit a clear camping star filled night.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks Took it out on a couple dry weekend trips and it worked well. On my most recent trip it rained....turns out the rain fly is more decoration than useful. Seams seem sealed well but water comes straight through the fly's fabric. It didn't pour straight through so I'm guessing its mostly spotty water proofing treatment. I would consider Marmot gear pretty decent stuff but a leaky rain fly indicates otherwise. IMO the singular purpose of a tent, especially a rain fly, is to keep you dry if it rains and this one doesn't. Outside of that fairly important feature I really like the tent. Going to waterproof it myself but would be very hesitant to purchase another tent from Marmot in the future.
